Computer Usage & Internet Access

Heidelberg National MUN 2015 is committed to contributing to saving our environment. Thus, we will do our utmost to keep the conference as paper-less as possible, which will make it necessary for you to bring a laptop computer or any other device to access the internet. The University of Heidelberg provides WiFi access through their own network (UofHD students only) as well as through eduroam (Heidelberg specific information available here). Please check with your home university for personal credentials before the conference.

Accommodation

We will begin to arrange accommodation requests after the primary application deadline on Dec 14, 2014. We will be able to offer a limited amount of private accommodation with our WorldMUN Heidelberg delegation, and otherwise help you secure a room in a hostel in Heidelberg. If you would like to ensure your accommodation earlier than that, we can advise you to reserve a hostel room - overview here, e.g. Steffis Hostel, or in Jugendherberge Heidelberg International.

The conference will begin on Saturday at 9.30 am, and end so that you can return home by Sunday night. We would advise you to stay in Heidelberg for one night.
