To find your way to Heidelberg


Heidelberg is conveniently located in Germany and can be reached easily by train, plane or car.

 

Access by Train

Heidelberg's railway station is situated only a few minutes (by car or public transportation) from the town center and the conference facilities. Express Services to all countries and cities in Europe are available (ICE-/IC-/EC-trains; directly or via Mannheim).

 

Access by Plane

Frankfurt Rhein-Main Airport is located 80 km from the city center of Heidelberg. Transfer within 1 hour from Frankfurt by Lufthansa Airport Shuttle Service (Door-to-door to the Crowne Plaza Hotel, cost: approx. EUR 19.--).

It is also possible to take a train from the Frankfurt Airport station. You might need to change trains in Mannheim, from there directly to Heidelberg (altogether around 50 min.); total cost of approx. EUR 14,40 train for young people under 26 years of age.

 

Access by Car

Coming from Frankfurt follow direction Darmstadt, Karlsruhe, Basel; (A5, then A 656), exit motorway-intersection Heidelberg
